The Best Fake Brother Ever

by Melissa Darnall

Adam grew into a brilliant man that had passion for this world that I could only dream to match. However, the Adam I knew most was a silly teenager that loved to sing and laugh. He was an amazing and caring friend to my sister. He showed up to our family dinners and holidays to fill the room with laughter. He loved to mug for the camera and was never embarrassed to be himself. He laughed with (and at) us without missing a beat, making him our long lost brother for a girls-only family. Our family was lucky to have so many moments with him, making him an important part of our memories forever. I will miss him every day, but most of all when I see a McDonald's isn't open.
